Mt. Kaimailong is one of the highest mountains in Genyen Range. It is 5873 meters high and it is one of the prominent mountains in the south range of Genyen Massif. Mt. Kaimailong is of granite big wall and has two summits. This mountain is one of the “Great Seven” mountains and a prominent one.
Mt. Kaimailong has been climbed (recorded) so far twice in 2012 and 2017. Although it is recorded as Mt. Kameilong or Mt. Kemailong from some other resources, but Kaimailong is the local calling of this mountain. It is a holy mountain according to local people and considered a god.
It is accessed from both east by Zongna Valley and west by Kai Valley.
It’s side peak is called Amen Dewa that is above 5600 meters and considered unsummited mountain. And mountains further north into Zongna Valley have zero record of exploring nor photos available.
