Mt. Shangchu Chogo or Mt. Xiangqiu Qieke is the same mountain.
Mt. Shangchu Chogo either refers to the cluster of mountains or the peak by its western-most within the cluster. Mt. Shangchu Chogo is 5863 meters and there is no record of summit of this peak or any attempt into these mountains.
By Mt. Shangqu Chogo, there is also Mt. Zaga Chaji (5835m), Mt. Chogo Nongzi (5760m), and three more peaks that are over 5500 meters. Mt. Shangchu Chogo has multiple summits.
It has huge glacier by its southwest.
The access is usually from its northwest from Chogoding Village where road ends by around 3900 meters and another 10+km approach by foot to base of mountains to north side. With new roads built by its south side, it is easier to approch from its south with an easy 10km walk to base of the peaks here.
