Mount Grosvenor is a 6000+ meter mountain in Minya Konka in western Sichuan. It is 6376-meter above sea level. Mt. Grosvenor is also called Mt. Riuqie, or Mt. Riuchi. Mt. Grosvenor is 6376 meters above sea level and one of the highest mountains in the northern range of Minya Konka. The mountain peak faces Mt. Edgar in the east, and Mt. Jiazi in the northeast. Access from Yanzigou is more complicated, while the north and west sides provide southwest ridges, northwest and north walls, and northeast ridges that seem climbable.
Climbing History
It was summited in 2003 in September by a British team. Same year earlier in spring another British team failed due to bad weather and fallin rocks.
In 2009 spring a Korean team returned halfway due to bad weather and loosing rocks.
In 2010 Kyle Dempster and Bruce Normand made a successful summit via its northwest wall.
