Mount Potala is also called Potala Feng. It is a 5240-meter mountain in Shuangqiao Valley in Mount Siguniang Massif. It resembles the Potala Palace in Lhasa so it gets its name Potala.

Mt. Potala is located in Shuangqiao Valley by its east ridge south to Mt. Se’erdengpu.

First recorded summit was made in 2003, a team tried from its westface and had 1300-m rock-climb and rated 5.9. In 2005 there was a solo attempt from its northface. Another attempt was made in 2006.

Its side peak Eagle Beak is a big view in Shuangqiao Valley. There are also attempts to this rock. Eagle Beak is a mountain called Yingzui Yan in Chinese. It is a 5300-meter mountain at Mount Siguniang Massif.
